An essay is writing your thoughts on a chosen topic. It is an individual and always exciting job because you have the opportunity to bring up a problem from a party that is of interest to you. We offer two examples of essay writing.
Example one: compare each item separately
Topic: “Compare and contrast essay about bicycle and motorcycle.”
Traffic in the city without traffic jams: a bike or a motorcycle?
The answer is, apparently, quite obvious, but this is only at first glance. If you think about it, the choice can be quite tricky, since these two modes of transport have many positive qualities. At the same time, each of them has its disadvantages. Comparing these two machines will help you understand which one is closest to you.
A bicycle is a vehicle that is very simple in structure and one of the cheapest. Life is movement, and biking is a very active movement. It does not need fuel, but it will help you to maintain the proper shape of your body. It is lightweight, and in the absence of a dedicated room, you can store it in your apartment.
A motorcycle is much faster than a bicycle. The bike is perfect for people who love the feeling of adrenaline. However, it is also considered the most dangerous mode of transport. It is not a low-cost pleasure that will allow you to enjoy the ride without making any physical effort. However, you have to add another item to the mandatory budget spending on fuel for your iron horse.
If I had to choose, I would choose the motorcycle without hesitation because I’m a fan of speed and extreme. The bike is fun to ride, and you don’t have to work your feet. It can be easily traveled much faster and more comfortable.
The second way is to compare things by individual criteria
Bicycle or motorcycle: Compare vehicles and choose the best option.
- Costs. The most expensive bicycles in the world can cost up to two hundred thousand dollars. The cost of motorcycles exceeds this amount by several dozen times. Besides, the bicycle does not need fuel to ride, unlike another vehicle.
- Health. By this criterion, the bicycle wins. It will help you stay fit. A motorcycle, in contrast, does not create heavy physical exertion on your body but also pollutes the environment.
- Speed. The highest speed ever developed by a bicycle is 264 km per hour. But this was only due to the rocket launcher mounted on it. In reality, the motorcycle is several times faster. A bicycle will take you far more time and effort to overcome the same distance. So if you like speed, choose a motorcycle.
All these factors will help you determine what is better for you. If I had to choose, I would have preferred the bike without hesitation. You do not need an exclusive license to operate a bicycle and do not need to spend money on fuel.
